Over 185 Hectares of Land to Be Auctioned in 2025

​​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On February 10, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha held a meeting with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and relevant departments and localities regarding the results of implementing land use rights auctions and the investment in constructing resettlement areas.

During the meeting, Mr. Mai Phong Phu, Director of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, reported that according to the plan, the province will auction 17 land plots this year, covering an area of over 185 hectares, with an estimated revenue of nearly 2.4 trillion VND based on the land price table.

As of now, some plots have had their starting prices approved and auction decisions made, while others have approved auction plans. The majority are still in the process of completing related legal procedures: 1/500 planning, investment policies, land valuation, etc.

Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha emphasized that land auctions are a significant political task to achieve the goal of double-digit growth this year. Organizing land auctions not only addresses revenue generation but also promotes the development of infrastructure projects, contributes to urban renewal, and brings benefits to the community.

The provincial leadership requires the Land Fund Development Center to specifically estimate the number of plots eligible for auction this year, the expected revenue, and to quickly advise the province on a "handbook" for land auctions, reporting the results of these tasks every two weeks. The People's Committees of districts and cities must expedite the procedures within their authority, especially the 1/500 planning of the land plots. Regarding difficulties in hiring consulting units for land valuation, provincial leaders urged state-owned centers to actively engage in the land valuation task for the province.

Regarding resettlement areas, the Director of the Land Fund Development Center informed that the unit has been assigned by the province to develop infrastructure for 3 areas with over 4,300 resettlement lots.

Among them, the resettlement project covering over 49 hectares in Phuoc Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City has approved the detailed construction plan at a 1/500 scale and is currently coordinating to complete the feasibility study report and related documents.

The resettlement project of over 31 hectares in Tam Phuoc Ward, Bien Hoa City has also approved the detailed construction plan at a 1/500 scale and is finalizing the feasibility study report and relevant documents.

The resettlement project in Dau Giay Town, Thong Nhat District has approved the detailed planning at a 1/500 scale, has received environmental permits, and is finalizing the feasibility study report.

Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha noted that the bottleneck in implementing public investment projects recently has been slow resettlement processes. The resettlement areas that the Land Fund Development Center is executing are large in size, and the implementation process must ensure progress and construction quality.​
