Dong Nai Union launches the month of Workers 2023

​(E. Portal of Dong Nai) – The Provincial Confederation of Labor has held a Launched Ceremony of Workers 2023 and responded to Action Month on labor safety and hygiene. Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Confederation Genaral of Labor Thai Thu Xuong; Vice Permanent Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung, representatives of departments, businesses, and more than 500 workers.

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Confederation General of Labor and Vice Permanent Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son present supports to workers' children whose parents died of Covid-19 at the launched ceremony. ​

Speaking at the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2023, Chairman of the Provincial Confederation of Labor Nguyen Thi Nhu Y emphasized that the annual Workers' Month became the peak period for organizing activities aimed to union members and employees. Accordingly, the Trade Union in the province coordinates with other departments, branches and enterprises to promote practical activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers; directing programs and benefits to the grassroots. Since then, creating trust, concern and care of the whole society for the trade union, union members and employees in the province.

Attending and directing the launching ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Confederation General of Labor Thai Thu Xuong noted and praised the results that Dong Nai Trade Union levels achieved in the past, especially the 50 typical workers having many initiatives and creativity to benefit the businesses were honored. At the same time, suggesting that the Dong Nai Trade Union of all levels organized practical activities to proactively implement activities to take care of the material and spiritual lives of employees; dialogued with employers who are responsible for fully implementing regimes and policies for employees on the implementation of corporate social responsibilities. Well organized activities to support difficult workers, so that all workers had "ensured benefits, better welfare".​

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong also suggested that Dong Nai Trade Union at all levels had solutions to participate in order to improve working conditions and environment, ensure safety in production for workers; regularly paid attention to propaganda and training on safety contents for employees, especially the highlight of the propaganda in May, the month of action on occupational safety and health.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Labor Confederation presented 45 gifts to 45 workers' children whose fathers or mothers died due to Covid-19, each gift worth 2 million VND; awarded 5 Trade Union Shelters worth 50 million VND per shelter sponsored by Gimo Joint Stock Company. At the same time, praising 50 typical production workers and presenting gifts to 10 workers suffering from occupational accidents and serious diseases.​
