Dong Nai Customs Department organizes the 2023 Customs-Business Online Conference 

The Movement of Studying and Following Uncle Ho has brought about clear, effective, and outstanding changes in fulfilling political tasks. In the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, the Party organization of Dong Nai Customs Department has been highly praised for excellently completing assigned tasks.

Specifically, administrative reform work has been strongly emphasized, aiming for transparency, simplicity, and openness of administrative procedures in the customs management sector, in line with the dual objectives of facilitating trade and enhancing the local competitiveness while ensuring effective state customs management.

As a result, Dong Nai Customs Department has processed 100% of administrative procedure records related to the management work of 13 ministries and sectors updated on the national single-window system; exchanged electronic certificate of origin information with all 9 ASEAN member countries; received and electronically cleared 100% of customs declarations; carried out 99% of the state budget revenue collection through the 24/7 electronic tax system; provided 102 out of 105 level-4 online public services (including 3 level-3 administrative procedures according to the specific management nature of the sector)...

Dong Nai Customs Department also focuses on building and implementing the 2021-2025 Customs Reform and Modernization Plan, with the general goal of achieving digital transformation by 2025; professional and effective customs management on the basis of Industry 4.0 technologies; being among the leading units in digital transformation; and coordinating with the General Department of Customs in completing the "Customs Organization at Long Thanh International Airport" project.

Furthermore, to develop and modernize customs operations, the unit constantly innovates, upgrades, and develops the infrastructure of the information technology system; supplements and upgrades modern equipment to meet the requirements of modern customs management. It operates server and workstation systems; implements automated customs surveillance and online monitoring systems with seamless connectivity at three levels: the General Department of Customs - Dong Nai Customs Department - Subordinate Customs Offices.

The unit also intensifies the implementation of the Customs-Business Partnership Development Plan, aiming to develop a reliable partnership based on cooperation, sharing, support, and sustainable development between Customs and Businesses, supporting businesses in overcoming the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, global economic and political fluctuations, and promoting business recovery and production. Along with that, efforts are made in the control of smuggling and trade fraud, excellently achieving control targets over the years. Regarding administrative violation handling, in 2023 alone, more than 592 cases of administrative violations were detected and processed, with a total fine amounting to over 36.53 billion VND, an increase of 28% compared to 2022 (28.6 billion VND)... ​
