Collecting budget revenue from import and export reached over VND 7.1 billion dong during the holidays

Portal of Dong Nai) – Dong Nai Department of Customs said that during the holidays of Hung King's death Anniversary, Day of Southern Liberation April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, the Customs sector handled more than 200 import and export declarations of goods including 92 import declarations and 121 export declarations.

During the holidays, the total import-export turnover reached 14.6 million USD, the state budget revenue from the import-export sector reached over 7.1 billion VND. Import and export activities were smooth, ensuring clearance time, timely and quick release of goods. During the period, there were 12 ships carrying import and export goods allowed to go through immigration procedures. There were no cases of administrative violations, smuggling and fraud.

In order to achieve the above results, the units at and under the Department of Customs strengthened the direction and management of the units, closely followed the activities of the units, promptly and effectively handled all raising tasks and situations, ensuring smooth activities during the holidays​
