​Applying scientific and technological advances to labor, study and production in the province has brought about positive changes, contributing to improving economic efficiency and increasing people's income.​

​ Efficiency from models

 Suoi Cat commune (Xuan Loc district) recently appeared many examples of applying scientific and technical advances in labor and production. It can be mentioned that Mr. Truong Van My, a good farmer in production at hamlet 2 successfully researched and manufactured a smoke sprayer, a machine that can spray insecticides, pesticides, and plant protection drugs with the cost of only five hundred thousand dong; or Mr. Tran Van Thanh (hamlet 1), self-studying scientific and technical progress, applying the model of growing cashew trees, guiding members of the Suoi Cat 1 cashew tree club to invest and renovate an average of 1 hectare of cashew trees with benefit of  40-50 million dong.

 According to Deputy Chairman of Suoi Cat Commune People's Committee Nguyen Tan Loc, from the beginning of the year, the locality has promoted propaganda and mobilizing people to promote initiative and creativity in work and study. Along with typical examples of innovations in production, many individuals also effectively promoted innovative models in administrative reform, teaching and learning. These included: applying IO Plus software and Zalo social network in transmitting meeting invitation information, saving time and costs; implementing the set of living skills education model for preschool children from 3-4 years old of Suoi Cat commune kindergarten to help children to acquire basic living skills at an early age.

 In administrative reform, Long Hung commune (Bien Hoa City) has implemented a model to guide the submission of death registration procedures on the electronic environment and receive results at home. Deputy Chairman of Long Hung Commune People's Committee Le Hoang Phu said that the locality has asked each cadre and civil servant at the One-stop Department to uphold their responsibilities in advising and implementing the steps of the model. Sectors and organizations promote propaganda and coordination in receiving, guiding, solving and returning results to people at home as soon as possible.

 “In order to make the death registration model in the electronic environment close to the people, the officers in charge take the initiative to sit at the one-stop department for specific instructions. We coordinate with the youth union to propagate people when carrying out administrative procedures, they will be guided directly to submit the application online if there are problems," said Mr. Phu.

 The promotion of initiative movement, creativity in work and study is replicated in Bao Quang commune (Long Khanh City). In the year of  2022 alone, the production field in the whole commune has 8 farmer households and 1 farm registered to apply science and technology, saving time and production costs; 5 households with VietFarm melon growing model according to VietGAP standards with a closed production process without using pesticides, helping to improve profits with the output of 65 tons per year, the revenue of 2 billion VND per year.​

Students in Bien Hoa City create models for learning activities

In the field of education, many initiatives of teachers at Bao Quang commune have been recognized at city and provincial levels. Typically, the initiative of some games to help 5th grade students remember English vocabularies by the teacher Nguyen Thi Yen Phi, a teacher of Nguyen Du Primary School; or create interest in Music for 5th grade students of the teacher. Nguyen Thi Anh, Nguyen Hue Primary School...

 Replication among the classes of people

 The Manager of the program 6 on promoting creative initiatives in work and study in Thong Nhat district has deployed and replicated the movement throughout the district. The district has organized competitions: farmers compete for talent; creative competition for youth and children; participating in the contest to learn creative ideas for start-ups; online contests to improve propaganda effectiveness in the work of association and farmers' movements of Dong Nai province... In particular, the movement was actively responded by youth and children, there were 146 students participating in 2022 with 97 contest solutions.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the District People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Steering Committee of the Movement of All people unite building cultural lives of Xuan Loc district Huynh Thi Lanh, over the past time, communes and towns have cooperated with agencies, units and organizations to organize many activities to propagate, popularize and promote initiatives and creativity in work and study. Through the reviews of localities, there were more than 50 models of applying scientific and technical advances in agricultural production such as dragon fruits, pomelos, clean vegetables, rambutans, durians, and cantaloupes, raising cows, goats, pigs... These models contributed to reducing production costs and improving the economic lives of the people.

Department of Science and Technology, Manager of Program 6 on promoting and creative initiatives in work and study said that in order to deploy the contents smoothly and conveniently, the Program Management Board has consolidated its members; perfecting processes, standards, criterias and regulations for grading and evaluating participating solutions every year. In the coming time, the Department would continue to propagate and widely disseminate the movement to all classes of people in many forms online and directly. Thereby, attracting more participation of organizations, units and individuals in the province.​
