Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc worked with Amata Corporation

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) – On the morning of January 24, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc worked with Amata Township Long Thanh Company Limited on 2 projects: Amata Long Thanh City in Long Thanh district and Amata industrial park expansion phase 3B in Bien Hoa city.

According to the investor's report, the Amata Long Thanh City project in Long Thanh district has currently submitted the 1/2000 zoning planning dossier. The area of 753 hectares has completed the procedures for revising, appraising documents and drawing cadastral maps but is waiting for policy approval to convert from rice farming land. In addition, the 47-hectare resettlement project is also in the process of submitting documents to change the use purpose of rice farming land.

Due to these shortcomings, the investor recommends that the province allow Long Thanh district to continue including the land area for project implementation in the annual land use plan for 2024; as well as recommends the Prime Minister to approve the conversion of rice farming land area in the project; promptly appraises and considers for approval of the project's 1/2000 zoning plan. The Provincial People's Committee provides specific information on the order and procedures for adjustment; requirements and conditions related to the adjustment and impact of the adjustment of the Huong Lo 2 road project (section passing the Amata project) on the Amata Long Thanh City project. Promptly implement the 47-hectare resettlement area project as a basis for resettlement arrangements to recover land.

For the Amata industrial park expansion phase 3B project in Bien Hoa City with an area of about 27 hectares, the investor recommends that the province speed up the process of reviewing the project's investment and land legal documents to request the Ministry of Planning and Investment to approve the project investment policy in order to meet the production and business needs of businesses in the area. ​

Regarding the Amata Long Thanh City project in Long Thanh district, the Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to review documents and guide investors on procedures to participate in bidding according to regulations in February 2024. Regarding compensation for site clearance, Long Thanh district considers this a key factor to speed up the completion of land procedures of the project, and at the same time invest in infrastructure of the resettlement area project. The Department of Construction appraises the project's 1/2000 zoning plan and submits it to the Provincial People's Committee. For the section of Huong Lo 2 going through this project, the Department of Planning and Investment considers two options: either public investment or the construction will be carried out by the project owner.

For the Amata Industrial Park expansion project, the Acting Chairman assigned relevant departments, sectors and localities to urgently review regulations related to investment policies, land allocation and land lease.
