Vinh Cuu and Trang Bom districts celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Liberation Day

    At the anniversary, Mr. Nguyen Huu Ly, Deputy Secretary of Vinh Cuu Party Committee and Chairman of Vinh Cuu People’s Committee made a speech to reminisce about Vinh Cuu army and people’s heroic traditions in the Resistance War Against America and to highlight the great achievements through 35 years of the building and development of the district. Ly said that the Party, the authorities, army and people of Vinh Cuu have gradually made it a strong and prosperous district with an annual economic growth rate from 7% to 7.5% and that the district’s economic structure has been established and is based on the orientation of rural and agricultural industrialization and modernization.

    *On April 26, Trang Bom Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Liberation Day. Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee – Ao Van Thinh, heroic Vietnamese mothers and a large number of people in Vinh Cuu attended the anniversary.

    After 35 years of liberation, Trang Bom economy is headed in the right direction. The proportion of industries accounts for 70% and that of economic structure 20%. Vinh Cuu has 4 industrial parks and 7 local industrial clusters. Over 200 domestic and foreign investors here have provided employment for over 70,000 workers. Trang Bom’s annual per capita income in 2009 was VND29 million.

    On this occasion, Trang Bom Fatherland Front Committee launched an emulation movement to welcome the 35th anniversary of the Liberation Day and the Party Congress at all levels and to aim for the 1,000^th anniversary of Thang Long and Hanoi.
