Vice State President Truong My Hoa attends the third patriotic emulation congress of Dong Nai province.

On behalf of provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and FatherLand Front Committee made the opening speech. In the review of the emulation movement during the past five years, provincial chairman Vo Van Mot confirmed that there have been substantial changes for the better in the implementation of patriotic emulation movement in Dong Nai following the political bureau’s instruction 35 and 39 on the innovation in the new situation. The emulation movements have proved to be widespread, practical, steady and participated by various charters of population. They have also affected local people’s lives and contributed a great part to the construction and protection of the Fatherland for the aim of a just, democratic and civilized society. Base on the achievements of the past 5 years, Dong Nai people’s Committee had put forward measures to ensure the success of emulation movement in the period 2006-2010. and he concluded that the emulation movement should focus on provincial Party Committee’s instructions including using all the resources available creating a breakthrough in development quality and rate and turning Dong Nai into an industrial province by 2010. The congress delegates had an exchange with 4 typical individuals and one group with great achievements in the emulation movement. 13 groups and 19 other individuals were honored for their achievements in the past 5 years.

Speaking at the congress, Vice State President advised Dong Nai should keep on implementing patriotic emulation and highly appreciated the achievements of Dong Nai in the past five years. She also reminded that Dong Nai should improve the understanding on significance of patriotic emulation movement and enhance the content and form of emulation.

At the congress, the mutual agreements on emulation movement had been signed among Southeastern provinces.
