The 65th Anniversary of the National Day (September 2) and the 4th Dong Nai Patriotic Emulation Congress Held

The anniversary was attended by Vice Chairman of the Central Farmers Association of Vietnam Le Hoang Minh; Head of the Southern Representative Agency Ngo Tung Chinh; Member of the Central Party, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People's Council Tran Dinh Thanh; Former Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Phan Van Trang; Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Former Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet; Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Van Mot; Member of Dong Nai Standing Party Committee and Chairwoman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien; heroic Vietnamese mothers; representatives from people's armed forces, the labor heroes of the Doi Moi; over 550 exemplary representatives and more than 2,000 participants.

The delegations from Southeastern provinces: Ho Chi Minh city, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Thuan provinces also attended the anniversary.

Addressing the anniversary and launching the emulation movement, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai stressed that for the spirit of the 4th Dong Nai Patriotic Emulation Congress to be promoted in all areas, levels of the Party, the government,  Fatherland Front Committee and political unions are required to keep a better grasp of the contents of the Politburo’s Directive no. 39 on patriotic emulation and to associate the campaign “Study and follow the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh” with the enhancement of propaganda and education and with the promotion of national traditions and history and of patriotism among officers and Party members.

Particularly, Dong Nai’s patriotic emulation movements in the process of renewal should be linked to the implementation of guidelines and policies of the Party and of levels of authorities with the aim of encouraging officers, workers, civil servants and all classes of people to aim at key tasks.
