Summing-up conference on 5-year implementation of Central Resolution 7 (Term IX) held.

After deploying and managing implementation of the resolution for five years, party committees at all levels, authorities, fatherland front, and unions of the province have penetrated thoroughly and held implementation from the Party to people at all walks of life. The Central Resolution 7 has satisfied expectations of walks of life and been approved and encouraged by religious dignitaries, religious citizens, as well as ethnic minority citizens. Fronts and unions have constantly renovated their organization and operation mode, brought into full play role of uniting and aggregating people to join them, and become a bridge between the Party and citizens. Therefore, the national unity bloc has been persistently strengthened. Additionally, patriotism and national pride together with integrity of religious and unreligious people have been improved more and more. People at all walks of life have had a chance to enjoy favorable conditions in order to bring into full play their ability, intelligence, and aptitude to better themselves in their lives.

However, there have still been shortcomings and limitations while the resolution implemented: citizens still have unsolved difficulties, concerns, and contradictions; operation quality of the fatherland front and unions has not been equal; task of assembling people to join unions has not been finished well; quality of members of unions and associations along with their operation has been low; lives of people in deep-lying and remote areas and ethnic minority citizens have still had a lot of difficulty.

Concluding the conference, Le Hong Phuong requested committees at all level and sectors to continue promoting extensive propaganda about national unity bloc towards walks of life, continue settling their concerns in accordance with law. He also asked fronts and unions to constantly renovate and diversify their own operation modes in order to attract more and more people to join them, contributing to enhancement of their material and spiritual life.
