Seminar entitled “Let’s protect the environment through safety in the use of chemicals” organized

The current urgent matter is chemicals are in the increase and pollute the environment and at the same time lead to bad consequences for food safety. According to comments of experts, among 10 million tons of chemicals in circulation nationwide, half of them are in Dong Nai. The purpose of the seminar is to soundly evaluate benefits of chemicals to human lives and their harmful effects on human health and the environment if they are not safely used. “Let’s protect the environment through safety in the use of chemicals” is the message of the seminar to remind people and organizations to ensure safety in the use of chemicals in business and production, not causing harm to the community’s health and environment.

The seminar focused on the growth rate of sectors that produce and use chemicals in Dong Nai and their positive contributions to the national economy in general and Dong Nai in particular. At the same time, it analyzed the negative consequences for food safety and environment caused by chemicals in order to find solutions to cut down these problems. A number of special subjects were presented at the seminar such as: chemicals with environment and life, the situation of environment protection in Dong Nai industrial zones; the situation of chemical business and production in Dong Nai; enhance understanding to use chemicals safely and so on
