Provincial Standing People Council hold scientific conference of “Organization and Operation of Commission of People Council at the level of commune”

In 2006, agreed by Standing Provincial Committee of Party, Mission Committee of Delegation of Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Standing People Council of Dong Nai Province cooperated to Long Thang Standing People Council, Long Khanh Town and Bien Hoa City in model foundation of 6 People Council Committees at the level of commune. Through 1 year of model foundation and running, People Council Committees at the level of commune have to faces difficulties and embarrassment in implementing matters of people’s awareness and appraisal. However, during the period of running, People Council Committees at the level of commune have attempted to get encouraging achievements that demonstrated clearly consultative and assistant roles in Commune People Council. During 1 year, People Council Committees at the level of commune held 64 supervision and surveys of Resolutions of People Council, plan of soc-economy and national defence in 2006; carried out Laws of Conscription and procedure of enlistment in 2006; resulted from services activities in 2006 of commercial and serving cooperatives; balance local budget; carried out democratic regulations grassroots level, teaching and learning tasks; do 4 reduction and raised 183 opinions and petitions to relevant agencies for receiving and solving….

The aims of conference are finding out concrete solutions during the implementation of running models of People Council Committee at the level of commune to give positive and negative solutions of this model. Therefore, many reports and speeches had been represented at the conference that mentioned to matters of organization and operation of People Councils at the level of Commune such as: speech of Standing People Committee of Dong Nai Province of necessarily founding People Council Committee at the level of commune; speech of People Council Committee of Trung Dung Ward- Bien Hoa City of results from 1 year of model foundation and operation of People Council Committee at ward; speech of Standing People Council of Thai Nguyen Province of supervising state of People Council Committee at communes in the area of Province and solutions for raising quality of supervising activities to satisfy requirements of innovative period; speech of Standing People Council of Kien Giang Province of raising quality of running in People Council at communes; speech of Standing People Council of Vinh An Town- Di An District- Binh Duong Province of raising quality of operation of People Council in Town; speech of Standing People Council of Vinh Phu Commune- Thuan An District- Binh Duong Province of supervising activities between 2 session of People Council at the level of commune; speech of Budget and Economic Committee of Dong Nai People Council of solutions for raising quality in supervision of People Council at the level of commune in the field of finance; speech of Standing People Council of Dong Thap of operation of People Council at the level of commune during last time; speech of Standing People Council of Vinh Phuc of effective solutions in raising activities of People Council at the level of commune in province; speech of Dong Nai Cultural and Social Committee of improvement structure and activities of People Council at the level of commune; speech of Mr. Diep Van Son of innovation and improvement running performance of People Council at the level of commune that put in general innovation to raise running performance of basic authorities; speech of Dong Nai Politic College of states and solutions in raising quality of training delegation of People Council at the level of commune in the current situation of Dong Nai Province; speech of Legal Committee of Dong Nai People Council of results of operations of People Council at the level of commune in Dong Nai and solutions to raise qualitative and effective operations of People Council at the level of commune.
