Provincial Authorities held meeting to celebrate the lunar New Year.

 Participating at the meeting were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu, member of the Central Executive Board of the Party, member of the standing committee of National Assembly and head of the Committee for public affairs of National Assembly; Mr Tran Dinh Thanh, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Le Hong Phuong, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vo Van Mot, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; former leaderships of province; National Assembly delegates of province leaders of localities in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh informed all participants of the achievements Dong Nai Party and peoples have made in the last session. He emphasized that these achievements were the results of the great efforts of authorities, soldiers, arm forces and peoples from all walks of life in the province. Therefore, to achieve the target of 2006, the first year to implement the resolutions of the 10th Congress of Party and the 8th Congress of Provincial Party Congress, all Party, people and soldiers will have to try their best and use all their strengths, potentials and creativeness so as to overcome difficulties and to speed up emulation movement to excellently fulfill all targets of socioeconomic development, security and defense of the province.

On this occasion, the provincial Party Committee had granted certificates of merit to 14 groups who have fulfilled their assignments in the 8th Party Congress of the province.
