Dong Nai presented a large number of noble titles conferred by the President and the Prime Minister to individuals and organizations of the Province.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh – Secretary of the Provincial Party's Committee, Mr. Le Hong Phuong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party's Committee, Mr. Vo Van Mot – Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien – Vice Chairperson of the Fatherland Front Committee, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mrs. Huynh Thi Nga – Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Chi Thang – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, leaders of party’s organizations and leaders of departments, sectors and units.

Four individuals were awarded titles of Meritorious Artists, namely: Nguyen Huu Nghia (Ngan Vuong); Dong Thi Que Anh – actress of Dong Nai reformed-theatre (Cai Luong) and arts association; Tran Van Sin, actor of the provincial Centre of Culture and Physical Training and Lam Bao Thinh, actor of the provincial Secondary School of Culture and Arts. Thong Nhat Region’s General Hospital was awarded the third Independence Medal. Department of Science and Technology and residents and officials of Xuan Loc district were awarded the first Labour Medals.

 The second Labour Medals were awarded to one organization and 3 individuals, including the one-member limited liability company of construction and water supply and ladies and gentlemen, namely: Dang Thi Kim Nguyen (former Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Sang (Director of The Department of Science and Technology); Huynh Do (Director of The Industrial - Civil Engineering Company No.2). Three organizations and 4 individuals received the third Labour Medals, including: residents and officials of Phu Loc commune, Tan Phu District; Dong Nai Children’s Hospital; the Budget Division of The Finance Department; Ms. Pham Thi Hong Cuc – Deputy Manager of Industrial Zone Authority; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dinh – Vice Director of the industrial - civil engineering company No.2; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh – Chairperson of the People's Committee of Trang Bom District; and Mr. Bach Van Hien – Director of Bien Hoa Urban Environmental Services Company. Emulation Flags conferred by the Government were presented to two organizations: Phu Son Animal Husbandry Joint-Stock Company and Dong Nai Department of Industry. The National Emulation Fighter is Ms. On Thi Minh Phuong – Director of Dong Nai State Treasury. Certificates of Merit conferred by the Prime Minister were awarded to 21 organizations and 8 individuals, including State’s Legal Assistance Company of Dong Nai Department of Justice; The Notary Public’s Office No.1 of the Provincial Department of Justice; Office of Dong Nai Industrial Zone Authority; officials and members of Women’s Union of Dinh Quan district; officials and members of Women’s Union of Long Tho Commune, Nhon Trach District; Dai A Rural Commercial Joint-Stock Bank; Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Xuan Loc District; officials and members of Women’s Union of Vinh Cuu Commune;
