Dong Nai Customs Bureau received high-grade titles of commendation and reward

The President of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot awarded excellent emulation flag to Dong Nai Customs Bureau.

 According to the reports, in 2006 the amount of budget receipts of Dong Nai Customs Bureau gained nearly VND 3,100 billion, exceeding the scheduled rate 1.36%. The total export and import turn-over reached USD 7.9 billion, in comparison with the same period last year increasing 26.03%, among which the export turn-over exceeded 15.32% as compared with the target of over 20% increase proposed in the Resolution adopted by the Provincial Party Committee. Customs clearance was forwarded with professional method in fights, working with enterprises and checking documents and records. Any unit caught in the act was proposed to collect arrears and fined more than 7.2 VND billion in the year.

In 2006, in front of the threshold of Vietnam’s access to the WTO, Dong Nai Custom Bureau put forward the target “Be the master of information technology, speed up the reform process to integrate”. Thenceforth, units achieved outstanding results such as setting up a software program of “Declaration Management” in Agencies; deploying successfully “The program of re-managing the import of  export manufacture”, “A system of automatic supervision” , and upgrading the website to serve businesses and the like.

At the ceremony, many excellent teams and individuals were commended and awarded by the Ministry of Finance, the Head Department of Customs, Dong Nai province’s People’s Committee, Binh Thuan province’s People’s Committee. In particular, two individuals including Mr. Le Van Danh- Director of Dong Nai Customs Bureau and Mr. Nguyen Van Chien- Deputy Director of Dong Nai Customs Bureau honorly received the third-ranked Labor Medal from the State President; the Agency of Investigation after customs clearance received the third-ranked Achievement Medal; Bien Hoa Agency of Customs received the Certificate of merit from the Prime Minister.
