Announcement from the Service of communication and Transport about bus lines:

In order  to step by step promote civilized life in urban centers and develop the network of public transport for passengers connecting Bien Hoa City, the districts, tons and adjacent areas to meet circulation needs of the population, contributing to minimizing traffic congestion and environmental pollution, the people’s Committee of Dong Nai Province recently issued decision no.5280/QD.CT.UBT dated 28.10.2004 about approval of the project to develop the bus network in Bien Hoa city, industrial zones and adjacent areas for the period 2004 – 2010.

On 14.02.2005, the chairman of the provincial People’s committee approved the experimental project for the public transport of passengers by bus and the transport of students by car on the provincial territory.

So, from 14.02.2005, the Dong Nai Service of Communication and Transport will officially operate the public transport of passengers and the transport of student by car with financial support from the state budget. Specially, below are bus lines and ticket prices.

Line no.1: Bien Hoa vehicle stand National Route 1k, CMT8 street , 30/4 street, National Route 1, Dong Khoi street, Amata crossroads, Ho Nai bifurcation, National Route 1A, Trang Bom township and vice – versa.

Ticket prices:

Line no.1:

Ticket price: All line: VND 3,000/trip.

Less than haft a line: VND 2,000/trip.

Lines 3, 4,6,7,8:

Ticket price: VND 2,000/trip.

Line no.5:

Ticket price: All line: VND 7,000/trip.

Less than half the line: VND 3,500/trip.

Line no.12:

Ticket price: All line: VND 9,000/trip.

Less than half the line: VND 4,500/trip.

* If a customer buys more than 10 tickets or monthly tickets, he benefits by a price reduction of 25% (for all – line tickets) (not applied to lines no.5 and 12).

Operating hours and internals between 2 trips:

Buses on all lines operate from 5AM to 7 PM everyday.

Intervals between two consecutive trips:

+ Pick hours (morning, noon, and late afternoon): 10 – 15 minutes/interval.

* Dead hours: 15 – 20 minutes/interval.
