Information from the Ministry of Traffic and Transport, the Ministry has approved to add the planning of a specialized port (CNI International Port) at Ong Keo Industrial Park, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai to the detailed plan of the group of Southeast seaports (group 5) with a vessel size of 20 thousand tons.
Previously, the Ministry of Traffic and Transport has approved the detailed planning of the group of seaports in the Southeast (group 5) for the period to 2020 with a vision to 2030, the port areas of Phu Huu, Nhon Trach, Ong Keo (on Dong Nai, Nha Be, and Long Tau rivers) of Dong Nai seaports planned to include specialized ports to receive ships with a tonnage of 10,000 to 30,000 tons and a general port area for ships with a tonnage of up to 30 thousand tons.
