Socio-economic situation of the seven first months in 2013

​1. In economy:

- Index of Industrial Production (IIP) increases 7,35% compared to the same period.

- Until July 10, 2013, total areas of cultivation in summer-autumn season of the province was 74,362 ha, equal to 99.2% compared to the same period

- Budget collection counted for 51% compared to estimate.

- Export ratio reached 53% of plan, an increase of 4.1% compared to the same period. Import ratio reached 53% of plan, an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period

- Total retail of goods reached 55% of plan, increase of 13.6% compared to the same period

- CPI in July 2013 increased 0.35% compared to June 2013 and 5.6% compared to July 2012, 1,67% compared to December 2012. Gold price in July 2013 declines 7.2% compared to June and 16.8% compared to the same period, 21.7% compared to December 2012. Price index of USD in July 2013 increased 0.27% compared to June 2013, 0.51% compared to the same period and 0.85% compared to December 2012. 

- Transport of goods: goods transportation increased 6.7% in terms of transportation and 7.9% in terms of circulation compared to the same period. 

- Transport of passengers: passengers transportation increased 8.3% in terms of transportation and 8.7% in terms of circulation compared to the same period

- Total capital for investment and development in the territory reached 57.4% plan, an increase of 22% compared to the same period

- From the beginning of the year until July 19, 2013, total registered capital for new issuance and increase was 708.7 million USD, reaching 79% plan, equal 72% of the same period. 

-  Attraction of domestic investment: From the beginning of the year until July 19, 2013, total domestic investment was 5,967 billion dong, reaching 58.4% plan, equal 61.2% of the same period

- From the beginning of year until July 15, 2013, total capital of business registration was 5,634 billion dong (including new registration and increased registration), reaching 63% plan, equal to 76% compared to the same period, In which 1,106 new enterprises with total registered business capital of 3,830 billion dong and 106 turns of supplementary registration with capital of 1,804 billion dong. 

2. In terms of culture and society:

- Continuing the communication of resolutions of province, organizing culture, sports and tourism activities in public occasions to meet enjoyment demand of people

- Organizing the enrollment of students to grade 10 at high school, participating in national competition of excellent teachers in National defense and security, monitoring the enrollment to grade 10, enrolment to boarding schools of ethnic students of province and district.

- Well implementing disease prevention and protection in the province, implementing health check up and treatment to children under 6 years old, to subjects with health insurance and the poor.

- Creating jobs for 9,144 people in July 2013, 60,785 jobs were created in seven months, counting 67.5% plan, an increase of 1% compared to the same period. 

Poverty reduction: lending 10 billion don to 660 poor families

- The work of training, educating public employees was promoted under plan, issuing the Index for valuation of administrative reform at commune, district, province in Dong Nai province
