Commencement of extended Huong Lo 2 Project

​Extended Huong Lo 2 section is under construction

The extended Huong Lo 2 has a length of nearly 2km with starting point intersects with Highway 51, and ending point intersects with existing road (An Hoa - Long Hung road). The project includes road construction items (roadbed, road surface, pavement, greenery, median strip, etc); drainage system, reinforced concrete bridge section and lighting system.

This road section has a 54m wide roadbed, of which, main road covers 25m wide, median strip covers 3m wide, parallel road on each side covers 8m wide, parallel road on each side covers 8m wide, median strip on each side covers 2.75m wide, and the sidewalk on each side covers 2m wide. In addition, on the route, there are intersections with Highway 51, An Hoa - Long Hung road and intersections with existing residential roads.

The total project construction estimate is nearly VND 232 billion using from provincial auction capital of land use rights, enterprise reorganization support fund and budget capital source. Project implementation time covers 500 days.

Extended Huong Highway 2 is a route connecting the center of Bien Hoa City with the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway. Therefore, vehicles can go along this route from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City, shortening the distance and time of circulation. At the same time, this new connection will also contribute to reducing the traffic load on Highway 51.

The extended Huong Lo 2 project is one of Dong Nai key projects that are implemented in Bien Hoa City. Earlier, another important item on the Huong Lo 2 route, Vam Cai Sut bridge, was also started construction in early October.
