According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the province currently has 131 state-owned and equitized enterprises with declarations on the management and use of land with a total area of 14,267 hectares assigned and leased. In which, the land with collection origin for collection is 1,515 hectares, the land allocated without collection is 1,446 hectares and leased is 11,306 hectares.
On the basis of the results of declarations of the units, the total area being used for non-agricultural production and business purposes is 1,883 hectares, trade and services is 182 hectares and for other purposes is 11,521 hectares. Area used for improper purposes is 1.3 ha (housing for staff, 1.2 ha, leasing for rent 0.1 ha). Unused land area is 641 ha.
Currently, the land belonging to state-owned enterprises and equitized enterprises has 30 hectares under dispute (belonging to 7.75 hectares of Food Industry Corporation, 15 hectares under Ho Nai Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, Dong Nai Brick and Tile Joint Stock Company owns over 1 ha, Sonadezi Long Thanh Joint Stock Company owns nearly 4 ha, Bien Hoa Construction Material Production and Construction JSC owns 1 ha, and Ho Cau Moi Water Supply Joint Stock Company owns over 1 ha). In addition, nearly 9 hectares of land belonging to state-owned enterprises and equitized enterprises are being encroached upon.
