Ensuring effective implementation of Party resolutions
Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai CPC, and Chairwoman of the City People's Council, said inspection and supervision are aimed not only at detecting and handling violations but, more importantly, at ensuring Party resolutions are implemented seriously, synchronously, and effectively. This contributes to removing obstacles, unlocking resources, strengthening public confidence, and creating momentum for fulfilling the city's socio-economic development goals.
During the first six months of 2026, inspection and supervision in Dong Nai focused on implementing the Action Program for the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, resolutions adopted by Party congresses at all levels for 2025-2030, the concretization and synchronized implementation of the Party Central Committee's strategic resolutions, the city's key and breakthrough tasks, and the target of achieving economic growth of 10% or more.
Inspection and supervision also covered the institutionalization of resolutions into specific programs, plans, and projects, the assignment of responsibilities, the allocation of resources, the organization of implementation, and the achievement of the set goals and norms.
During the first six months of 2026, Party committees, Party cells, and inspection commissions at all levels inspected 588 Party organizations and 2,730 Party members. Inspections were conducted based on signs of violations, involving 10 Party organizations and 57 Party members, while thematic supervision covered 379 Party organizations and 1,585 Party members. Disciplinary measures were imposed on 109 Party members. In addition, the assets and income of 316 Party members were verified in accordance with regulations. The city authorities also received 38 citizen reports and recommendations via the VNeID application, primarily concerning the processing of administrative procedures.
Following Dong Nai's establishment as a city with the expectation of becoming a socio-economic growth pole in the Southern region by effectively leveraging the advantages of Long Thanh International Airport and the city's potential and position, the Dong Nai CPC’s Executive Board issued Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU on May 1, 2026, launching the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign themed “Unity – Discipline – Efficiency – Breakthrough, Building a civilized and modern Dong Nai.” The campaign will continue to be maintained and improved through 2030. The resolution provides an important foundation for building a political system that operates with decisiveness, discipline, and efficiency; creating clear improvements in the organization and implementation of resolutions; contributing to the successful realization of Dong Nai City's socio-economic development objectives.
At the conference held on May 26, 2026, to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU, Vu Hong Van, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the CPC, and Head of the Dong Nai National Assembly Delegation, assigned the CPC's commissions, including the CPC's Inspection Commission, to coordinate in advising on, monitoring, inspecting, supervising, and publicizing implementation results. He also directed that the campaign's results be linked to the evaluation and classification of Party organizations, officials, Party members, and heads of agencies, while identifying and strictly addressing manifestations of shirking responsibility, perfunctory performance, formalism, and failure to fulfill commitments.
The CPC’s Standing Board will regularly monitor, inspect and supervise the implementation of Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU, publicize the progress and results of each agency, unit, and locality, and use the effectiveness of the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign as an important basis for evaluating task performance, classifying Party organizations, officials, and Party members, and considering the responsibilities of agency heads.
Positive results
In implementing the directions of the CPC’s standing members and the CPC’s Standing Board on strengthening inspection and supervision of major Party resolutions, the Party committees and inspection commissions at all levels established 27 inspection and supervision teams to oversee 74 Party organizations and 311 Party members, while promptly reminding and rectifying 25 cases related to the performance of official duties. At the same time, Party committees and inspection commissions at all levels established 56 regular supervision teams to oversee discipline, administrative order, public service ethics, and workplace culture and assigned individual committee members to monitor the organizations, agencies, and units under their responsibility.
According to Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai CPC, and Chairwoman of the City People's Council, practical experience has shown that when public service performance is regularly inspected and supervised, administrative discipline is strictly maintained, solidarity is strengthened, then leadership and management become more effective, and the confidence of the public and the business community continues to grow.
Inspection and supervision have helped maintain strict Party discipline, enhance awareness of compliance among Party organizations and Party members, strengthen the accountability of Party committees and agency heads, and improve leadership, direction, management, the performance of public duties, and public service delivery.
Reporting on Dong Nai's socio-economic performance during the first six months of 2026 at the 4th conference of the CPC’s Executive Board, Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the CPC and Chairman of the City People's Committee, said the city's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 9.81% during the period, 0.03 percentage points higher than the planned growth scenario. The city's economic scale was estimated at nearly 360 trillion VND, an increase of nearly VND 47.3 trillion compared to the same period in 2025. Import-export activities continued to maintain growth momentum and made positive contributions to socio-economic development, with total import-export turnover estimated at 29.6 billion USD. Total budget revenue as of June 30, 2026, reached 56% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister and the City People's Council.
Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai CPC, and Chairwoman of the City People's Council said that, building on the results achieved in inspection and supervision work, the Dong Nai Party Committee will strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party Central Committee's strategic resolutions, resolutions adopted by Party congresses at all levels, and the city's key and breakthrough tasks. This will be linked to the responsibilities of agency heads, administrative discipline, public service ethics, and the implementation of commitments and action programs of each agency, unit, and individual related to the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign themed “Unity – Discipline – Efficiency – Breakthrough, Building a civilized and modern Dong Nai,” as well as the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth.
Inspection will focus on Party organizations and Party members showing signs of violations, including irresponsibility, delays in carrying out assigned tasks, avoidance, and shirking of responsibilities. Violations will be handled strictly, while efforts to resolve complaints and denunciations will be strengthened and complex cases of public concern addressed promptly.
Through that, the city authorities aim to build a political system that is truly action-oriented, disciplined, upright, effective, and dedicated to serving the people, thereby contributing to the successful realization of the goals set by the 14th National Party Congress and the City Party Congress.
