Nearly 11,600 additional social housing units are expected to begin construction across Dong Nai City by the end of 2026, according to the Department of Construction.

The projects will be implemented in several localities. These include a 2,000-apartment project to be developed by Trang An Joint Stock Company (JSC) in Tam Phuoc ward. Phuoc Truong Hung Housing Development Co., Ltd. will break ground on the first phase of a project comprising 1,800 apartments in Phuoc An commune. Meanwhile, Donacoop Infrastructure Investment JSC will begin construction of more than 1,800 units in Long Hung ward. Chuong Duong Corporation will also break ground on a project comprising more than 1,200 apartments in Long Binh ward.

Additional projects are planned in Phuoc Tan and Tan Trieu wards and in Long Thanh and Trang Bom communes, ranging from several dozen to more than 1,000 apartments each. Once completed, the projects will expand the city's supply of affordable housing, helping meet demand from low-income households and industrial workers while supporting Dong Nai's housing development targets for 2026 and the 2026-2030 period.
