(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the morning of November 23, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to promote investment in the field of trade, services and logistics in Dong Nai province and exploit the advantages of the area around Long Thanh airport in 2023.

At the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang affirmed that Dong Nai aimed to focus on developing modern industry along with developing trade - services - logistics. Accordingly, by 2030, the province would become the transit gateway of the entire Southern region with a dynamic, comprehensive and flexible infrastructure system including roads, railways, airways, waterways, and by sea. With those advantages, Dong Nai would become an international logistics center. In addition, after Long Thanh International Airport came into operation, it would be the largest airport in the country, creating a big boost for various fields such as industry, logistics, trade and services, as well as urban development altogether.

At the conference, representatives of departments and sectors provided businesses with information about the potentials, advantages, and investment attraction policies of Dong Nai province. Sharing his thoughts with the business and investor community, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh affirmed that Dong Nai province has many potential advantages because of Long Thanh airport as well as being close to Cai Mep port cluster. This will be the investment and development convergence area of the Southeast region in the long term. Dong Nai's advantage is also the advantage of businesses when investing in the locality. With a progressive mindset, as well as always provide the best conditions to welcome businesses and investors, Dong Nai province hopes that the business community can promote its advantages, connect and cooperate to build and develop the trade and service industry in Dong Nai province. On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee granted an investment certificate to BW Tan Hiep Logistics Center project (Long Thanh District). This is a project with an area of 64.4 hectares, which will be established to be a modern logistics center.
