Recently, under the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic and other factors, direct participation in trade fairs and events at home and abroad faced many difficulties. In that context, Dong Nai has actively participated in and campaigned and supported businesses to respond by online. Events to connect, promote trade, and invest online with partners from countries that are key export and import markets have helped businesses save costs but still be able to achieve the set goals, especially the capture of information and opportunities.

In particular, in order to promote e-commerce transactions in particular, and introduce Dong Nai's products in general to domestic and international consumers, since the end of 2021, the Department of Industry and Trade has put the e-commerce website into operation in Dong Nai province (ecdn.vn). This is a channel to introduce and trade goods in accordance with the new situation in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. E-commerce platform contribute to the consumption of products by manufacturers and connect to domestic and international consumers through the internet environment.

Promoting exports online is one of the important tasks in 2022 and beyond. Earlier this year, when implementing the 2022 task for the Provincial Steering Committee and Economic Development, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People's Committee said that to support businesses, it is necessary to promote the application of digital technology. In particular, for the Industry and Trade industry, in addition to improving the operational efficiency of the E-commerce Exchange, it is necessary to strengthen coordination in the development of digital technology enterprises. Promoting the application of technology online, digital technology is the most optimal solution today and will become a trend.
