Consumer Price Index up 1.58% over the Previous Month

According to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Commerce, CPI in Nov. 2010 is up 1.58% compared with that in Oct. while up 9.75% over the same period last year.

Several price-stabilized commodities have a slight increase.

    As of Nov. 15, there is an slight increase in some of the price-stabilized list items, including gas (by VND15,000 a cylinder) rice (by VND500 to VND1000/kg) fertilizer (by VND5,000 to 7,000 per pack). Bien Hoa sugar increases by VND4000/kg, cement by VND2,500 per pack; lean pork by 5,000/kg; beef VND10,000, snake-head by VND8,000, steel by VND300 to VND600/kg while petroleum price remains unchanged.
