In the first 6 months, opening 578 training classes of agricultural encouragement in technological and scientific transfer

In a report announced by provincial Farmers Association, in the first 6 months of 2011, it has cooperated with Agricultural Encouragement, Plant Protection stations, enterprises and local Farmers Associations to organize the training of agricultural encouragement to transfer technological and scientific practices to members. The number of training classes is 578, including 57 workshops with the participation of 522,174 member farmers.

The content of the training focuses on such issues as knowledge of farm-based economic model, control over mouth and foot disease, diseases and pests, proper use of fertilizer, fish breeding techniques and lingzhi fungus cultivating know-how, etc. Besides, Farmers Association at local areas has sent 4,661 officers and member farmers to pay a work visit to several effective economic models located in the province or other national regions.
