​The Department of Industry and Trade has just sent a document to the People's Committees of the districts, the city and production and business enterprises about the stockpiling of essential goods to serve people in the period of acute respiratory infection caused by Coronavirus (nCoV) which is causing new complications.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade's assessment, the outbreak situation should lead to difficulties in the circulation of goods in the coming time, in order to ensure essential goods to serve people at a stable price, the Department of Industry and Trade has suggested proposals for localities to continue implementing the Price Stabilization Program as planned by the Provincial People's Committee. The localities should check capital borrowing units participating in price stabilization in the preparation of goods sources, prices and continue to work with cooperatives, businesses and business households in the area to develop more networks. The Department also asked the Market Management Department to strengthen the inspection of listing prices and prices, especially focusing on checking the acts of taking advantage of the scarcity of goods in the market to buy and sell at illegal prices. In the course of checking and controlling the market, cases of scarcity of essential consumer goods such as cereal, food, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, petrol, gas and consumer goods are detected; therefore, it is requested to timely advise the Department of Industry and Trade to regulate goods.
Businesses, trade centers, supermarkets, and enterprises shall work out plans to reserve goods sources, especially essential goods, which are ready to supply to the market at reasonable prices when the outbreak spreads out. Enterprises, committed to participating in the price stabilization program of the province, shall ensure the source of goods registered and be ready to supply when the market fluctuates in price to readily serve the people.
