According to Department of Planning and Investment, as of the end of July, as many as 43 countries and territories have invested in Dong Nai with 1,153 projects worth more than $ 22.7 billion.
Five biggest investors with more than $ one billion were Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Bristish Virgin Island. Taiwan ranked first among investors in Dong Nai with total 278 projects worth nearly $ 4.9 billion. Korea rank second with 298 projects, worth nearly $4.7 billion, followed were Japan with more than $ 3.5 billion. Singapore and British Virgin Island invested nearly $ 2 billion and over $1.2 billion, respectively.
