(News Portal – Dong Nai) – On the afternoon of February 24, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Committee; and Mrs. Hoang Thi Bich Hang, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and extended congratulations to the staff, doctors, and healthcare workers at Thong Nhat General Hospital and Dong Nai Children's Hospital on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025).

During the visit, representatives of the two hospitals provided updates on their operations. Thong Nhat General Hospital, a tier-1 hospital, currently operates with 48 departments and offices staffed by nearly 1,400 officials, employees, and workers. Over the past year, with the support of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health, and other provincial departments, the hospital achieved most of its set targets. Looking ahead, Thong Nhat General Hospital aims to sustain and further enhance its achievements to better fulfill its mission of providing public healthcare.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai Children's Hospital operates with a capacity of 740 beds and employs 750 staff members. The majority of its doctors and staff have been trained at undergraduate and postgraduate levels specializing in pediatrics, enabling the hospital to meet the healthcare and treatment needs of the community effectively.
Speaking at the hospitals, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc extended his congratulations to the staff, doctors, and healthcare workers of Thong Nhat General Hospital and Dong Nai Children's Hospital in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.

Representatives of Thong Nhat General Hospital and Dong Nai Children's Hospital expressed their gratitude for the attention and support from the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day. They pledged to strive for even greater achievements, contributing to the fulfillment of their mission to care for public health. Additionally, they expressed their hope for continued support from provincial leaders, departments, and agencies to enable healthcare professionals to perform their duties more effectively.
