(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On February 21, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a Government Conference with localities to implement the conclusions of the Central Committee and the resolutions of the National Assembly and Government on economic growth.

The conference was co-chaired by Deputy Prime Ministers and leaders from ministries, central agencies, and localities. At the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee meeting point, the conference was chaired by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc.
In a report presented at the conference, the Ministry of Planning and Investment outlined eight growth drivers for industries, sectors, and localities for 2025 and proposed tasks and solutions for the upcoming period. Key among these is the need to focus on administrative reform, expedite investment procedures, and resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses and projects.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc stated that in 2025, Dong Nai has been assigned an economic growth target of 10% by the Prime Minister. Despite numerous challenges, with the determination of the entire political system, Dong Nai is committed to achieving double-digit growth starting in 2025.

In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized confidence in meeting the conditions and capabilities required to achieve a growth rate of 8% or higher, laying the foundation for double-digit growth in the coming years. "What is encouraging is the spirit of determination and resoluteness throughout the Party, the entire political system, and the people," the Prime Minister noted.
Regarding implementation methods, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of continuing to innovate thinking, developing new approaches, and creating new growth drivers by mobilizing resources from the people. "Resources originate from thinking and vision, motivation stems from innovation and creativity, and strength derives from the people and businesses," he explained. It is essential to foster solidarity, unity, determination, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges. Facing difficulties and challenges is also about overcoming oneself. He also highlighted the industriousness, intelligence, creativity, hospitality, and love for peace of the Vietnamese people. The Prime Minister called for continued innovation in economic management thinking to generate new momentum for socio-economic development.
Local Venues Participating in the Government's Online Conference
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also outlined ten key tasks and solutions for the near future to achieve the growth targets. The focus will be on the following priority areas: implementing the Central Committee's resolutions, Politburo's conclusions, and the National Assembly and Government directives with determination, thoroughness, and consistency; creatively and effectively applying the resolutions and directives of the Prime Minister. Ministers, heads of agencies, and provincial and municipal Party Secretaries and Chairpersons of People's Committees must closely engage, develop implementation plans, and assign specific responsibilities and tasks to their subordinates. Additionally, efforts will prioritize boosting total productivity and labor productivity, completing institutional reforms as a "breakthrough among breakthroughs," and improving the efficiency of law enforcement. Other priorities include ensuring a streamlined, effective, and efficient organizational structure; enhancing administrative reform and digital transformation; and promoting economic growth through both traditional and new drivers of growth. Special emphasis will be placed on public investment, using it to guide private investment, and accelerating the completion of national priority projects.
