​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On February 24, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ho Van Ha, reviewed reports from various departments on the conditions and progress of land use rights auctions for the area within Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, which is undergoing functional transformation.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the Functional Transformation Project for Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into a Commercial-Service Urban Area, as per provincial directives, is progressing rather slowly.

Regarding the planning work related to the Functional Transformation Project for Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park and the Dong Nai Provincial Administrative and Political Center project, the Bien Hoa City People's Committee has largely completed the documentation and is currently gathering feedback from relevant authorities. The Department of Construction is organizing a competition to gather design ideas for the transformation of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into a Commercial-Service Urban Area. However, the proposal report for the investment policy of the Administrative and Political Center project still lacks sufficient grounds for preparation and submission.​

After hearing the exchanges and opinions from various departments, Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha directed the Department of Planning and Investment to lead the establishment of a task force to provide advisory support for implementing the project. Each department is to assign one senior official and one experienced specialist to participate consistently. Later this week, provincial leaders will meet with the task force, during which related departments must propose ideas for the project's implementation. Additionally, it will be determined whether the 75-hectare land area within Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park meets the conditions for a land auction in 2025.​
