difficulties in land clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project
The delegation inspected the land clearance process and the construction capabilities of contractors at several projects, including the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City, the first phase of Huong Lo 2, and the construction of Provincial Road 25C from National Highway 51 to Huong Lo 19.
During the inspection, representatives from various units and localities reported the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the land clearance and construction processes. The main issues related to land clearance involved policies on compensation and resettlement for residents whose land had been reclaimed.
Speaking at the inspection, Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha noted that there are currently two groups of key projects in the province: those of national significance and those at the provincial level. The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have directed relevant units to allocate significant time to address existing issues and challenges in organizing the construction of these key projects. Therefore, project management boards must identify specific obstacles and provide a timeline for their prompt resolution.

Relevant units must ensure that no tasks are overlooked, processes are not violated, and that the entities responsible for resolving difficulties and outstanding issues are identified as quickly as possible.
Regarding the recommendations from various units, Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha stated that the Provincial People's Committee acknowledges these concerns and will soon reach a consensus on policies for households affected by land reclamation, resettlement arrangements, and various policies concerning social housing and resettlement land prices.
