Provincial People's Committee has recently issued the Trade Promotion Program
for Dong Nai Province in 2025.
Rambutan is one of the province's key agricultural products supported for trade promotion.
Accordingly, the list of supported products includes 20 categories: construction material; ceramic and porcelain products (including decorative ceramics, household ceramics, industrial ceramics, and ceramic tiles; cashew nuts and other seeds (coffee, pepper, etc.); animal feed; livestock products (pork, beef, chicken, etc.); processed foods (including monosodium glutamate, confectionery, fruits, canned beverages, instant coffee, milk, mushrooms, durian, canned chili, etc.); fabric and textiles; yarn and textile products; ready-made garments and accessories; footwear and accessories.
Other supported products include: pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals (for humans, animals, and plants; plastics and resin-based products; agricultural machinery and equipment; automobiles, motorbikes, and components/parts manufacturing; electrical wires and cables; industrial electrical machinery and equipment (e.g., transformers, electric motors, etc.); electronic components and IT/computer/telecommunications equipment; wood processing products; rubber and rubber-based products; OCOP products and the province's key industrial products; handicrafts; key agricultural products of the province such as coffee, cashew nuts, pepper, pomelo, mango, dragon fruit, rambutan, and durian.
The program provides financial support to businesses, cooperatives, production and trading establishments, farmers, and farms participating in the program that aim to develop products in line with target markets and orientations.
As for the target Markets, within Dong Nai province, the program will serve rural residents, focusing on key localities in the province, workers in industrial zones, rubber plantations, as well as residents in Bien Hoa City and Long Khanh City. Furthermore, key domestic markets also include Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hue, and the central and southern economic regions. International markets include countries such as the United States, Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Germany, India, Australia, Laos, and South Africa.
The program includes: trade fairs and exhibitions within the province; exhibitions outside the province and international trade promotion activities; domestic trade connection events, conferences, and seminars; trade promotion activities supporting key rural agricultural products and the province's flagship products; the "Vietnamese prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign.
Additionally, the program emphasizes the integration of information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion activities during the 2021–2030 period in Dong Nai. This includes financial support for updating the Trade Promotion Center's website, hosting the Southeast Region Industrial and Trade Fair 2025 in Dong Nai, and supporting enterprises' participation in the "Monthly B2B Trade Connection Program" on the 9th of every month in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025. Other notable events include the Bien Hoa Traditional Ceramics Festival in Dong Nai in 2025, and a detailed cost summary for the 2025 Trade Promotion Program.
Support levels and participation procedures are outlined in Articles 3 to 12 of Resolution No. 12/2021/NQ-HDND dated July 30, 2021, issued by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, which regulates expenditure content and support levels for the Trade Promotion Program in Dong Nai Province. Funding will come from the Trade Promotion Fund and will be allocated only for activities listed in the approved program. Settlements will be conducted in accordance with regulations established by the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Finance.
