(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the evening of January 14, the Provincial Labor Union officially launched the 2025 Union Tet Market. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Quan Minh Cuong, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Cao Van Quang, along with leaders of various departments and thousands of union members and workers, attended the event.

In her opening remarks, Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Union Nguyen Thi Nhu Y shared, “For many years, as the Lunar New Year approaches, the trade union has organized numerous activities to care for union members and workers. This year, the union continues to host the 2025 Union Tet Market during the Year of the Snake, an annual activity that has become a familiar and meaningful tradition. The initiative reflects the union's commitment to supporting, encouraging, and sharing with workers, bringing a warm, joyful, and happy spring to every member and worker. It reaffirms the care of party committees, authorities, and trade unions at all levels for workers, motivating them to overcome difficulties and unite in striving for excellence in labor and production."
The 2025 Union Tet Market will run from January 14 to January 19, 2025. The event features 100 booths, including 20 showcasing OCOP (One Commune One Product) items from local businesses, production facilities, and individual entrepreneurs in the province who have earned quality certifications, and 80 commercial booths. All products are offered at discounted prices for workers. Additionally, the program includes activities such as legal consultations, mini-games, calligraphy, and nightly cultural performances to entertain workers.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Quan Minh Cuong praised and acknowledged the efforts of the Provincial Labor Union in supporting union members and workers, particularly those facing hardships. He highlighted the annual Tet care initiatives as a hallmark of these efforts. The Deputy Secretary emphasized that trade unions at all levels should continue organizing Tet markets to provide workers with opportunities to shop for high-quality products at affordable prices.

On this occasion, the
Provincial Labor Union presented 100 gift packages to union members and workers
facing difficulties. Each package included 1 million VND in cash (sponsored by
the Provincial People's Committee) and an in-kind gift worth 300,000 VND.
Additionally, 50 shopping vouchers were distributed to representatives of union
members and workers. Previously, the Provincial Labor Federation issued 5,000
shopping vouchers for union members and workers participating in the Union Tet
Market. Attendees also enjoyed performances by renowned artists and
participated in lucky draws for valuable prizes.
