the final months of the year, many enterprises in Dong Nai have collaborated
with grassroots trade unions to organize vibrant competitions and sports
activities for workers to enjoy after working hours. These initiatives help
meet the needs of workers for physical fitness and enhance their spiritual
well-being.

Physical Training
To create a recreational platform for workers at year-end, the grassroots union of Tokin Electronics (Vietnam) Company Limited (Bien Hoa City) recently held a successful sports event, attracting nearly 200 union members from various production workshops. The sports event featured diverse competitions such as tug-of-war, rope skipping, sack racing, and dry land canoe racing. The union awarded 26 prizes to outstanding individuals and teams participating in the events.
Mr. Phan Toi Tho Hiep, President of the grassroots union at Tokin Electronics, stated that with the goal of ensuring each worker's health contributes to the stability and growth of the company's operations, the union organizes sports events annually to create a healthy and enjoyable environment for workers to recharge after working hours. The success of the event is reflected in the enthusiastic participation and competitive spirit displayed by the workers.
Recently, over 200 workers from Tessellation Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Amata Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City) actively participated in a Sports Day organized by the company and the grassroots union. The event included six competitions: football, tug-of-war, dry land canoeing, rope skipping, table tennis, and relay races. This annual activity takes place every November, providing a meaningful and healthy space for workers to improve their health, enhance physical fitness, and strengthen solidarity and teamwork.

The 2024 Pou Sung Singing Contest, featuring 103 contestants, was recently organized by the grassroots union at Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Trang Bom District), creating an energetic and inspiring atmosphere for workers. After the preliminary rounds, the top 20 contestants were selected to perform in the final ranking night. With confidence, effort, and a passion for music, many workers presented remarkable performances that resonated emotionally with the audience.
Notably, the grassroots union invested in a well-equipped stage with sound, lighting, and props, allowing workers to perform confidently. According to the company's union, the contest has become a platform for workers to express their passion for singing over the years. Through this event, the union identifies talents to promote and develop cultural and artistic activities among the workforce at the company.
Ms. Dang Thi Thom, President of the grassroots union at Dona Pacific Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Trang Bom District), noted that during this time, all workers are actively rehearsing for year-end contests and the company's year-end celebration. As usual, in addition to the Singing Contest, there will be a beauty contest and a modern dance competition. This year, the company's leadership will also participate in a performance to entertain the workers after a year of dedication. These contests will be meticulously organized to provide meaningful recreational opportunities, boosting workers' morale and productivity.
According to the Provincial Labor Confederation, workers' spiritual lives are increasingly being prioritized by trade unions at all levels and enterprises through various activities and new models, creating a strong effect that attracts worker participation. Many enterprises not only facilitate workers' involvement in cultural, sports, and recreational activities but also implement cultural and entertainment corners in the production workshops, providing workers with healthy and beneficial leisure activities in their daily work environment.
