At Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thach Phu Commune, Vinh Cuu District), the company has agreed to grant workers an 8-day Tet holiday. The holiday period will be from January 26, 2025, to February 2, 2025, which includes two Sundays and one day of annual leave.
Regarding Tet bonuses, the company has not yet disclosed specific amounts to employees; however, it has committed to maintaining the same bonus levels as in previous years, as outlined in the collective labor agreement. Specifically, employees who have worked for a full year will receive one month's salary as a bonus, with an increase of 5% for each subsequent year, capped at 200%, equivalent to two months' salary. The total Tet bonus for 2025 is estimated to be approximately 650 billion VND. For the New Year's Day 2025, each employee will receive a bonus of 200,000 VND, which will be transferred to their accounts.
The union and the company plan to provide Tet gifts worth 700,000 VND each for workers and will also visit accommodations and local areas to deliver gifts to workers in difficult situations who cannot return home for Tet. Additionally, a year-end cultural night and a lucky draw with various valuable prizes will be organized. The grassroots union is currently compiling a list of employees planning to return home and arranging transportation to take them to their provinces for the holiday.
At Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Trang Bom District), the grassroots union reported that it has met with company leadership and agreed to grant workers a total of 8 days off for Tet. The holiday schedule is from January 26, 2025, to February 2, 2025 (corresponding to the lunar dates of December 27 to January 5, 2025). Workers will resume work on the 6th day of the lunar month. The company has communicated the annual holiday schedule to its workforce.
Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. currently employs 18,000 workers. For Tet bonuses, the union has negotiated with the company's leadership to determine the bonus amount, which will be announced to employees soon. The bonus will be ensured at the same level as previous years to encourage workers' continued commitment to production. In early December, the union will distribute gifts to all employees. Additionally, the grassroots union will host a year-end celebration, cultural performances, and a year-end lucky draw for the workers.
Many other companies in the province are also planning to give workers an 8-day Tet holiday and have introduced reward policies for those who return to work on time after the holiday, offering 200,000 VND per person. Furthermore, they ensure a minimum Tet bonus of one month's salary for each worker.
