(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Dr. Le Thi Phuong Tram, Deputy Director of Dong Nai General Hospital, stated that previously the hospital implemented the One Card system for patients to register for examinations and pay hospital fees, along with SmartPOS machines for credit card swiping and static QR code payments.
Dynamic QR code screens are set up at the hospital's emergency fee collection counter.
Since November 15, the hospital has introduced a new payment method using dynamic QR codes. This initiative aims to enhance service quality and promote cashless payment options at the hospital. It is also the first hospital in the province to implement this payment method.
This means that patients can use their banking app on their phones to scan the QR code provided by hospital staff. The dynamic QR code contains complete information about the type of service the patient is receiving along with the amount of hospital fees to be paid.
This method is very convenient for patients as it eliminates the need to wait in line, reduces the necessity for cash, and minimizes the risks of theft, loss of money, or confusion during the payment process. The clear and accurate transaction details also play a significant role in the hospital's management efforts.
Currently, the hospital has deployed 21 dynamic QR code screens across various fee collection areas, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, and specialized medical examinations. So far, approximately 3,000 patients have utilized this payment method for their hospital fees.
