(News Portal – Dong Nai) - The
Department of Transport has reported that according to the planning, three
national railway lines will be constructed in the province, including: the
North-South high-speed railway; the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau railway; and the Thu
Thiem - Long Thanh light railway.

Among these, the North-South high-speed railway project has had its pre-feasibility study report completed by the Ministry of Transport and has been evaluated by the State Appraisal Council. At the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, the government presented the investment policy for consideration and approval. The section of the railway passing through the province is expected to be about 80 km long, with one passenger station located at Long Thanh International Airport and one freight station in Trang Bom District.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau railway is currently being prepared for a pre-feasibility study report by the Railway Project Management Board (Ministry of Transport). The section through the province is expected to be approximately 87 km long, including the Trang Bom - Hoa Hung segment.
The Thu Thiem - Long Thanh light railway is also having its pre-feasibility study report prepared by the Railway Project Management Board. The section through the province will be about 37 km long.
Currently, there is one operational railway line in the province, which is the North-South railway. The section of this railway line that runs through the province is 87 km long and includes 8 stations: Trang Tao, Gia Ray, Bao Chanh, Long Khanh, Dau Giay, Trang Bom, Ho Nai, and Bien Hoa.
