(News Portal – Dong Nai) - The Standing Committee of the Nhon Trach District Party, along with Director of the Department of Construction Ho Van Ha, held a working session with the consulting unit to review the progress of the dossier for adjusting the general urban planning of Nhon Trach through 2045.
Director of the Department of Construction Ho Van Ha speaks at the conference
According to the consulting unit's report, the implementation of Nhon Trach's urban planning closely follows the guidelines and strategies outlined in Resolution 09 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Decision 455 of the Prime Minister. The planning aligns with national, Southeast Region, and provincial planning frameworks. As such, Nhon Trach's urban areas are divided into nine subdivisions: the central urban area, the southern industrial urban area, the service, tourism, and education urban area, the existing eastern urban area, the Nhon Trach industrial zone, the international smart eco-complex urban area, the high-tech agricultural production and tourism zone, the logistics and port industrial zone, and the mangrove forest conservation zone combined with tourism. Additionally, the consulting unit proposed spatial development orientations for the urban area, identified the urban connectivity traffic framework, inland transportation, wastewater drainage systems, solid waste management, and cemetery planning, along with solutions for stormwater drainage, involving 180 discharge gates into the local river systems.
During the conference, leaders from the Department of Construction and the Nhon Trach District Party Committee – People's Committee requested the consulting unit to analyze the strengths of the general urban planning adjustment for Nhon Trach and how to address bottlenecks in the planning of subdivisions. They also suggested incorporating waterway traffic planning, inland ports, and cultural infrastructure into the report. Further additions include road connections to Ring Road 3, parallel roads, and links to the Ben Luc – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway, recalculating the layout of key traffic intersections, and proposing additional internal transportation routes and gas pipeline systems. Notably, the priority should be given to planning prime locations for production and business activities, concentrating resources on areas with population attraction potential, and planning social housing and resettlement areas with comprehensive urban facilities, including healthcare, schools, commerce, and services.
