(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On October 22, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang chaired a meeting with the Provincial Transport Construction Investment Project Management Unit and related departments regarding the progress of projects under their management.
Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang delivers the concluding remarks at the meeting.
According to the Provincial Transport Construction Investment Project Management Unit, they has been assigned to carry out 22 projects, of which two have been completed: the upgrading and expansion of Provincial Roads 763 and 768.
Out of the 22 projects, nine are considered national key projects. Recently, the construction of these projects has encountered various difficulties due to a lack of available land, insufficient materials for landfilling, and a shortage of waste disposal sites. As a result, the Unit has requested the provincial government to direct the relevant units and localities to expedite the necessary tasks to accelerate the construction progress of the projects.
In her concluding remarks, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang requested the Project Management Unit to reestablish the critical timelines for Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project and Component 3 of the Ho Chi Minh City – Ring Road 3 Project. Additionally, she urged the Provincial People's Committee Office to review and monitor the land handover process in Bien Hoa City, Long Thanh District, and Nhon Trach District to facilitate the construction of these projects. She emphasized the need to avoid partial land handovers, which could prevent contractors from proceeding with construction.
Regarding land clearance for these projects, the Provincial People's Committee Office was instructed to review and recommend that the relevant localities complete this work.
Furthermore, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang also asked the Provincial Transport Construction Investment Project Management Unit to coordinate with the Departments of Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, and Industry and Trade to address issues related to the supply of materials and the relocation of technical infrastructure to support the construction of the projects.
