According to the Provincial Transportation Project Management Unit, the implementation of several key transportation projects is currently facing challenges. These projects include Component 1 of the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway Construction Project; Component 3 of the Ring Road 3 Construction Project in Ho Chi Minh City; the construction of the Phuoc An Port access road; the upgrade and expansion of provincial roads 769 and 763; the construction of provincial road 770B; the upgrade of provincial road 25B; and the construction of provincial road 25C.
The main issues these projects face include land clearance, availability of construction materials, relocation of technical infrastructure, and inconsistencies in planning.
During the working session, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang expressed concern over the slow progress of these key transportation projects. She emphasized that relevant units must collaborate to resolve the existing obstacles and accelerate the project timelines.
Regarding planning issues, local authorities are required to review and update plans to ensure consistency and alignment. Additionally, the Provincial Transportation Project Management Unit must coordinate with relevant units to complete the relocation of infrastructure that has not yet been addressed in some projects.
