(News Portal – Dong Nai) – The Nhon Trach District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee recently held a grand ceremony to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the district's establishment (September 1, 1994 – September 1, 2024). The event was attended by Central Party Committee member and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc; Provincial Party Standing Committee member and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Thai Bao; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; and former provincial and district leaders.

Numerous Achievements
Nhon Trach District Party Secretary Le Thanh My reflected on the district's history, highlighting the significant progress made from difficult beginnings to the present, where the district now boasts 9 industrial zones with a total investment of over $11 billion. The district's transportation infrastructure has developed rapidly, and the living standards of its residents have steadily improved. Nhon Trach is currently one of the localities with the highest total budget revenue in Dong Nai Province.
In its development and integration phase, Nhon Trach has increasingly demonstrated its role as a central hub connecting the Southern Key Economic Region, with many vital traffic routes. The district has become a "magnet," attracting people to live and work there. By 2025, Nhon Trach is expected to meet the criteria for a class-3 urban area, developing into an industrial city-port in line with the goals set out in Provincial Party Committee Resolution 09.

Comrade Le Thanh My emphasized that over the past 30 years, along with remarkable socio-economic development, Nhon Trach District has allocated substantial resources to social infrastructure development and the well-being of its people, under the principle that the people are both the driving force and the ultimate goal of development.
He underscored the trust and aspirations for Nhon Trach to become increasingly prosperous and civilized, where citizens enjoy a prosperous and happy life, with the district soon transforming into a new industrial urban area and a port city.
The District Party Secretary called upon all officials, Party members, civil servants, armed forces personnel, and all citizens to further promote the revolutionary traditions of the heroic homeland of Nhon Trach. He urged everyone to unite, uphold self-reliance, and creativity, and to be determined to build the district into a rapidly growing and sustainable district.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son presented certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to individuals with achievements contributing to the development of the district.
Continued Efforts to Capitalize on Advantages and Drive Further Development
Speaking at the anniversary celebration, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc acknowledged and praised the significant achievements made by the Party, government, military, and people of Nhon Trach District over the past 30 years.
He emphasized that to build and develop Nhon Trach into a class-3 urban area by 2025, and to strive to become a class-2 urban area by 2030, in line with the spirit of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU dated January 9, 2023, from the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Party and government of Nhon Trach District must continue to make efforts. They should uphold the spirit of self-reliance and resilience, harness the proud traditions of the heroic people of Nhon Trach, effectively utilize investment resources, accelerate economic growth, rapidly transition the economic structure, and improve the quality of life for residents. The goal is to transform Nhon Trach comprehensively into a new city in the near future.

Chairman Vo Tan Duc urged Nhon Trach District to quickly coordinate with relevant departments to complete the adjustment plan for the new Nhon Trach urban area, ensuring legal compliance for the implementation of investment projects. He called for strengthening state management in various fields, particularly in planning, land use, and construction; effectively managing resources and protecting the environment. The district should focus on supporting investors in expediting compensation and land clearance processes for key projects. The aim is to mobilize and effectively utilize investment resources to develop synchronized, modern urban infrastructure and inter-regional transportation systems.
Moreover, Nhon Trach District needs to build and complete its social infrastructure and modern technical systems, enhancing the urban landscape. The district should combine the development of new residential areas with the renovation and improvement of existing ones, following proper planning to ensure harmonious urban architectural spaces. Investments should also be made in public welfare projects to meet the essential needs of residential areas, such as markets, supermarkets, schools, parks, and recreational and sports facilities.
Nhon Trach District should also actively collaborate with provincial authorities to attract businesses to invest in commercial centers and supermarket systems in the area. The district should continue to expand various types of commercial and service activities to meet the immediate needs of local residents, especially those related to services supporting industrial zones. The district should support investors in quickly implementing and operating the group V seaport services system, encourage and facilitate the development of services catering to industrial zones, and mobilize investment capital from all economic sectors to exploit tourism routes and points according to approved plans. Additionally, the district should innovate the leadership methods of the Party, strengthen organizational work, and build the Party, with a focus on inspection and supervision; promote administrative reform, and build a team of truly competent, responsible, and dedicated officials serving the people. It is crucial to unite and leverage the strength of the entire population, listen to and promptly address the legitimate needs and aspirations of the people, and strive to further develop Nhon Trach District into a thriving and modern city.

The Provincial People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to various collectives and individuals who have made significant contributions to Nhon Trach District's 30-year journey of construction and development.
Chairman Vo Tan Duc expressed confidence that in the coming time, the Party, government, and people of Nhon Trach District will fulfill the tasks and targets set out, soon transforming Nhon Trach into a modern industrial urban area and port city, and a central hub for the economy, culture, and science and technology in the Southern Key Economic Region.
Acting Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen The Phong pledged to continue working with the District Party, government, and people to build on the successes of the past 30 years, maintain a spirit of solidarity and unity, and overcome all difficulties and challenges. He expressed determination to work harder to transform Nhon Trach into a dynamic, prosperous, and modern industrial urban area and port city, in line with the goals set by the Provincial Party Standing Committee's Resolution No. 09.
