According to the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, there are 31 industrial zones currently operational in the area; the Long Thanh High-Tech Park is under development; and the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park has been approved in principle for investment by the Prime Minister. Of the 31 operational industrial zones, more than 86% of the land available for lease has been filled. The remaining area, approximately 752 hectares, is scattered across various parks and is hindered by issues in compensation and land clearance.

During the meeting, relevant units discussed several matters concerning compensation and land clearance for the industrial zones, the construction of infrastructure connecting outside the industrial zones' fences, and obstacles in adjusting the detailed 1/500 master plan according to Government Decree 35. Additionally, issues about accommodation for workers and foreign experts, as well as connectivity of electricity and water systems, were also addressed.

In her directive speech, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang requested local authorities to review the land clearance process to identify specific remaining obstacles for prompt resolution. Moreover, the issue of transportation connectivity outside industrial zones, which has been a longstanding concern raised by various entities, needs to be focused upon. To expand the industrial land fund, for newly established industrial zones, related units should review the procedures, land allocation documentation, and detailed planning to update and incorporate them into the province's budget estimates for 2025.
