An overview of the Nhon Trach Bridge components as construction is expedited

The Nhon Trach Bridge spans the Dong Nai River, serving as a critical element of the Ho Chi Minh City – Ring Road 3 Project, linking Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai. On the construction site, various machinery, equipment, and personnel are actively working.

According to the project investor, the My Thuan Project Management Unit (Ministry of Transport), the Nhon Trach Bridge package, spanning 2.6 km, is being executed by the contractor Kumho E&C (South Korea). It commenced in August 2022, with a contractual completion date set for August 2025. However, the contractor is committed to shortening the timeline by 4 months, aiming for completion by the end of April 2025. The approach road package on both ends of the bridge, extending over 5.6 km, is also on track to meet its schedule, with completion expected before September 2, 2025, thanks to land availability. The remaining sections of Component 1A have secured land clearance, and contractors are working diligently. For Component 4, Nhon Trach District has completed four rounds of approval for compensation and support plans.
