(News Portal – Dong Nai) - The Provincial Confederation of Labor and departments have encouraged 6 textile and garment enterprises in the province to participate in the collective agreement of the textile and garment industry in 2023.

The provincial advisory board, includes representatives of departments, meets and agrees on a draft collective labor agreement for the textile and garment industry.
The working group was reported on the labor, employment, orders and implementation of benefits situations of the enterprises. As for the terms in the draft collective agreement, businesses basically agreed all of them. However, some businesses were still considering about annual salary increases, Tet bonus announcements and other supports.
At the meeting, members of the Provincial Advisory Board discussed and agreed on the contents of the draft agreement on benefits and support policies of enterprises for employees. On that basis, the Provincial Advisory Board sent the draft agreement to businesses before signing. The signing would be made between the business owner and the representative of the employee collective. Through group agreements, businesses work together in taking care of workers' rights, limiting job hopping and labor disputes.
This agreement belongs to the project "Promoting social dialogue in the workplace and effective collective bargaining in the textile and garment industry in Dong Nai province". This is a cooperation project between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Dutch Trade Union.
