Thong Nhat Province opened Traditional Football Competition

An opening match

    This competition is part of 6th Thong Nhat District Games in 2009. It is attended by 9 football teams which are divided into 3 groups. Group A (including communes such as Hung Loc, Bau Ham and Xuan Thanh) competes at the stadium of Dau Giay farm; group B (Taxation Branch, Quang Trung and Xuan Thien) at the stadium of Binh Loc rubber farm (Thuan Thien Commune); group C (Gia Tan 2, Gia Tan 3 and Gia Kiem) at Gia Tan 3 stadium. The teams will play in round-robin tournament. Three top teams of each Group and one second-ranked team will play in the semi-final round. After the opening ceremony, the first match in group A between Bau Ham 2 and Hung Loc took place. In the end, Hung Loc beat Bau Ham 1-0. As known, the competition will end on May 2, 2009.
