Summer 2011 Voluntary Youth campaign with the “Every youth and every grassroots youth union do one voluntary job and contribute to preserving social security” slogan was widely responded. Youth union members took part in the campaign enthusiastically.

In addition to propaganda concerning the Party and the government’s resolutions, guidelines, border and  sea island sovereignty, environmental protection, voluntary summer activities, propaganda focused on such contents as scientific and technological transfer, breeding training, consultation, assistance given to more than 24,000 students attending university entrance exams, and calling for youth union members to donate 1,497 blood units and to donate 4,500 gifts, 225 scholarships, 34 bicycles, and learning materials for children in far-flung areas worth more than VND450 million.

At the summation ceremony, the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Youth Union commended 21 collectives and 25 individuals for their outstanding achievements during the peak month of Summer 2011 Voluntary Youth campaign.
