Trang Bom Women’s Association’s report shows classes of women’s strongly developed movements and great contributions to various aspects in the society, which contributes to the district’s socio-economic development.
“Women Attempt to Study, Work, Be Creative, and Build up A Happy Family” movements are associated with “Study and Follow the Ethical Example of President Ho Chi Minh” campaign. These movements are participated in by 100 percent of the Association’s officers and members.
Traditional education to improve women’s moral quality, ability, and professional skills has been paid attention to. Over the past five years, 830,000 women have gained access to propaganda contents.
More than 4,500 women with pretty good living standard have been called for to help more than 5,600 others through difficulties or to make interest-free loans to each other.
603 groups with a membership of 5,039 people have been established to raise nearly VND4.4 billion in savings and more than 17,800 women have been made preferential loans to for earning extra income.
More than 71,000 officers and members including 85 percent of women with children under the age of 16 have been provided with knowledge on how to build up a happy family.
In its 2011-2016 period, Trang Bom Women’s Association will continue making it a stronger one, playing a good role in protecting and taking care of women’s legitimate rights and benefits, in striving to call for over 75 percent of women to participate in the Association, in having 100 percent of its officers and members keep implementing “Women Attempt to Study, Work, Be Creative, and Build up A Happy Family” that is associated with “Build up a 5-No and 3-Clean Family” and “Study and follow the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh” campaigns, and striving for 100 percent of strong grassroots associations and many other practical targets.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee including 33 members for its new term. Mrs. Le Thi Kim Mai was elected as the Chairperson of Trang Bom Women’s Association in 2011-2016 period.
