Dong Nai Environmental Protection Fund Hits VND37 Billion (or US$1.77 million)

It has functions of raising capital for the province’s environmental protection, and of financing the province’s activities to prevent and tackle environmental pollution, to combat environmental degradation, and to deal with environmental incidents.

Over the past seven years of operation, Dong Nai Environmental Protection Fund has financed environmental protection programs and projects, and assisted businesses in solving environmental pollution consequences.

Up to now, Dong Nai Environmental Protection Fund hits VND37 billion (or US$1.77 million)

Until late 2010, the Fund’s raised capital was over VND35 billion (or US$1.68 million).

The Fund has provided loans totaling over VND26 billion (or US$1.24 million) for 11 projects, accounting for 74.8 percent of its total capital.

At Dong Nai Environmental Conference 2011, Dong Nai Environmental Protection Fund continued to receive a financial support of VND2.25 billion (or US$108,010) from businesses, bringing its total capital to an amount of over VND37 billion (or US$1.77 million).
