68 various licenses of water resources issued

According to DONRE, 146 samples has been collected for analysis to serve for the project “Investigation and assessment of underground water resources in Dong Nai province” and the surveying of surface water resources in 6 districts. The Department has been accepted by the Provincial People’s Committee to issue 68 various licenses of water resources, i.e. 138 percent higher than 2009.

Besides, the Department has assessed and permitted 8 enterprises to discharge wastewater into water sources at 7124 m3 per day and night, gaining 53.3 percent of the plan. In addition, by examining 33 enterprises and re-investigating 72 units operating in the field involved in water resources, it detected 56 cases of violation associated with operation without license and operation without compliance with what license stipulated.
